Tea Time Pop-Up Fun Fold
Hey everybody, happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a good week and it’s not too chilly where you are, but if it is, I have the perfect card to warm you up! Leslie here, sharing a tutorial for a tea-themed pop-up card. I absolutely LOVE fun folds and will be sharing lots of them! This card features our Its Always Tea Time Cutting Die which I paired with prints from the Indigoletta 6x6 Patterned Paper Pack, a Stitched Oval Nested Cutting Die, and some Pin Stripe Mauve Mirror Peel-Off Stickers. What a gorgeous combination!

3. Inside pop-up panel: 3-3/8” x 4-3/4”
4. Inside pop-up panel pocket: 1-3/4” x 3-3/8”
Indigoletta patterned paper:

2. Bottom flap/pocket: 1-3/4” x 4”
3. Inside pop-up panel: 3-1/4” x 4-5/8”
4. Inside pop-up panel pocket: 1-5/8” x 3-1/4”
White cardstock:
1. Inside message card: 2-3/4” x 4”
ASSEMBLE CARD BASE:
Fold on all the score lines on the dark green cardstock pieces and burnish with a bone folder. Two valley folds on the card base with the larger flap at the top. Mountain fold on the top 1/2" portion and valley fold on the bottom portion of the inside pop-up panel.
Apply adhesive to the 1/2" flap at the top of the inside pop-up panel. Center and butt the edge up to the score line on the top flap of the card base.
Simply close the card base and press to adhere.
This is what your pop-up panel should now look like.
Next, add two adhesive foam squares to the outside corners of the inside pop-up panel and four more to the outside corners and edges of the bottom flap on the card base. Do not remove the release paper from the foam squares yet.
ADHERE PANELS
Fold the bottom portion of the inside pop-up panel upward and adhere the dark purple cardstock and patterned paper panels. Remove the release paper from the two foam squares and adhere, forming a small pocket.
Additionally, fold the bottom flap on the card base upward and adhere the dark purple cardstock and patterned paper panels. Similarly, remove the release paper from the four foam squares and adhere, forming a larger pocket and entrapping the smaller pocket inside. Open and close the card a couple times to be sure the smaller pocket slides up and down freely within the larger pocket.
Add a patterned paper strip and a pin stripe mauve mirror peel-off sticker to the top of the smaller pocket.
Close the card and adhere the dark purple cardstock and patterned paper panels to the top flap.
ADD FOCAL TO CARD FRONT
Flag the ends of the banner and adhere it vertically to the card front, applying adhesive only to the top half.
Using the Its Always Tea Time cutting die, cut the focal from gold foil cardstock and again from the dark purple cardstock. Adhere the gold foil beneath the purple, slightly offsetting it for just a bit of gold highlight.
Next, adhere the focal to a stitched oval cut from a print in the Indigoletta paper pack using a stitched oval nested cutting die, then adhere it to the card front, once again applying adhesive only to the top half.
Optional: Add small disc magnet to keep the card closed.
COMPLETE PROJECT
Embellish the inside message card (cut from white cardstock) with pin stripe mauve mirror peel-off stickers and fussy cut florals, leaving it blank to write a custom message. Another option would be to stamp a sentiment on the card.
