Rain Is Glitter Z-Fold
Hey everybody, happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a fantastic week. Leslie here, sharing my debut project as a new design team member for Love From Lizi, and I’m over the moon excited! I created this triple Z-fold using the awesome Rainbow Wishes stamp set (from our newest release) along with the coordinating Nimbus stencil, Winter Warmers 6x6 patterned paper pack and mini pearl strips. I’m definitely what you would consider a fun fold fanatic, and this triple Z-fold is one of my all-time favorites, so I’m thrilled to share! Let’s get started!
PRODUCTS USED
These are the products I used on my project which may include affiliate/ad links that earn me a commission at no additional cost to you:
1. Rainbow Wishes stamp set
2. Nimbus stencil
3. Stitched rectangle nested cutting dies
4. Winter Wishes 6x6 patterned paper pack
5. Mini pearl strips
CREATE FOCAL IMAGE
Using the Rainbow Wishes stamp set, stamp the cloud, raindrops, and sentiment in black ink and cut the image with a stitched rectangle nested cutting die. Place the Nimbus stencil over the cloud, secure with low-tack tape, and ink it in light blue ink. Apply a tiny dot of glue on each raindrop and sprinkle clear glitter over the image. Set aside to dry.
CUT CARD BASE AND LAYERS
PINK CARDSTOCK
1. Card base: 5-1/2" x 7", scored at 1-3/8" and 2-3/4" on long side (score lines on the left)
2. Wide horizontal strips (three): 1" x 7", scored at 1-3/8" and 2-3/4" (score lines on the right)
3. Narrow horizontal strips (two): 3/4" x 7", scored at 1-3/8" and 2-3/4" (score lines on the right)
INDIGOLETTA PATTERNED PAPER:

WHITE CARDSTOCK:

ADHERE LAYERS
Die cut a slightly larger stitched rectangle (to layer behind the focal image) using a slightly larger stitched rectangle nested cutting die.
Next, adhere the patterned paper background, vertical strips, and wide and narrow horizontal strips to the pink cardstock card base and strips.
Also adhere a scrap piece of patterned paper to the top of the back panel.
ADD FOCAL IMAGE AND SENTIMENT
Adhere the focal image to the card front, centering it vertically and horizontally.
Stamp a sentiment from the Rainbow Wishes stamp set on the back panel in black ink.
COMPLETE PROJECT
Apply mini pearl strips across the top and bottom of the card front.
Adhere the back panel to the card back, which will complete the project.
