MAGICAL FAUX PULL-TAB CARD
Hey everybody, happy Wednesday! How is your week going? I hope you’re having a great one – we’re nearly to the middle of June already. Leslie here, sharing a tutorial for making a faux pull-tab card featuring our new Make A Wish Cutting Dies and A Little Bit of Magic Stamp Set from our June release. I also used pink polka dot paper, some mirror cardstock, stitched circle nested dies, pink pinstripe peel-offs and gemstones. It is definitely a fun design but not a fun fold which is my most favorite kind of card to share. It has a unique panel on the front that resembles a pull-tab and I hope you’ll enjoy making it. Let’s get started!

2. Faux pull-tab panel: 3” x 4-1/4”
3. Inside layering panel: 3” x 4-3/4”
PINK CARDSTOCK:

2. Inside layering panel: 3-1/4” x 5”
PATTERNED PAPER (FROM POLKA DOT 6X6 PAPER PACK):

2. Inside embellishing strip: 3/8” x 2-78”
DIE CUT THE ELEMENTS
Die cut the fairy from white cardstock using the Make A Wish Cutting Dies.
Next, using the 8th and 9th smallest dies in the Stitched Circle Nesting Cutting Dies, cut a circular frame from the silver foil cardstock in the Matte Mirror A5 Pastel Cardstock Bundle.
ADHERE THE LAYERS
Adhere the pink polka dot paper to the front of the card base.
Next, adhere the pink cardstock to the white faux pull-tab panel. Use the 4th smallest die in the Stitched Circle Nested Cutting Dies to cut a notch. You can also use a punch for this step if you’d rather.
Finally, adhere the pink polka dot embellishing strip to the top of the white inside layering panel, and then layer the panel onto the pink cardstock.
EMBELLISH THE FAUX PULL-TAB
Affix three pin stripe pink holographic peel-off stickers horizontally across the faux pull-tab.
Next, adhere the silver circular frame to the left side of the faux pull-tab and then layer the fairy over it, popping her up on thin foam squares.
The final touch is adding a few pink gemstones from the Tropical Escapes Mix Size Gems.
Adhere the embellished faux pull-tab to the card front.
ADD THE SENTIMENTS
Stamp front and inside sentiments from the A Little Bit of Magic Stamp Set in black ink.
COMPLETE THE PROJECT
The only thing left to do is adhere the inside panel to the inside of the card base.
