Floral For You Card
The July release contains so many fun and beautiful things.
Today I am using the beautiful
Happy Days 6X6 Patterned Papers
I also used the new
Best Friends Forever stamp set, along with
The Sentiments Steel Cutting Dies
Let's take a look at my card
For my card today, I tried a 5 X 5 card; I haven't made
one of this style in a long time.
I started by trimming the patterned papers as shown,
and then matted them onto black cardstock,
giving a slight frame to the floral papers.
The center of the card was cut using
and watercolor paper.
The wreath was stamped using
Ranger Archival Ink
Next, I stamped and fussy cut the single flower.
To color my images, I use my watercolors to color in the
open areas. I wanted the images to match the
patterned paper so the leaves were colored black.
The flower and sentiment were added to the card using foam tape.
Here is a closer look
I added a few sequins to give a little sparkle,
Just the right finished touch.
