This set of cards was created with the September 2025 Super Kit Garden Grace from Love From Lizi. One of my favorite creative challenges is to take a single die and see just how many different ways I can use it. Today, I’m sharing three unique cards I created with the same background die from Love From Lizi. By simply switching up the inlay colors, paper choices, and sentiments, I ended up with three cards that each tell their own story.

Card 1: Soft Blues with Sympathy

For the first card, I paired the die with a soft blue inlay and a subtle floral background. I added a kraft paper bouquet wrap tied with twine and tucked in dried florals for extra texture. A vellum sentiment strip stamped with “With Heartfelt Sympathy” finishes the design, keeping it both elegant and comforting.

Card 2: Warm Neutrals with a Pop of Blue

The second card uses the same die cut but with reversed layering—this time I used yellow cardstock framed in soft blue, backed with floral paper peeking through. The bouquet and twine wrap remain the same, but the shift in background colors creates a warmer and slightly brighter feel.

Card 3: Happily Ever After

For the last card, I leaned into the patterned floral paper as the star. The blue frame and soft yellow accents highlight the greenery and blossoms in the background. Instead of a sympathy greeting, I added a sentiment strip that reads, “…and they lived happily ever after. The End.” It’s a completely different mood—perfect for a wedding or anniversary card.

Final Thoughts

These three designs are proof that one die doesn’t have to mean one look. By swapping paper colors, mixing patterned backgrounds, and changing the sentiment, you can create cards for completely different occasions.
